2011

The Albany Chapter hosted a successful Conference in Glens Falls, New York!

Great workshops, keynotes, entertainment, friends, colleagues, vendors, food, and more!

Year after year, the Eastern Region’s IPMA-HR Training & Development Conference offers an outstanding program to public sector HR Professionals. And this year was no different.  The 2011 ER Conference Program Committee had an outstanding list of speakers and topics this year.  Click here for theConference Program Book that was distributed at the Conference.  It contains info on all our events, awards, presentations, presenters, and the vendors that supported us to help it all happen!

This year’s theme of Gaining a Foothold in the Challenging World of HR,catapulted our thoughts to the foothills of the iconic Adirondacks, where we met friends and made new ones, met colleagues from other states and even other countries, and heard dynamic speakers making presentations about the topics most important to us.

The Conference was held at the lovely, historic, Victorian-style Queensbury Hotel, located in the heart of “Hometown USA”. It was beautiful, comfortable, the staff were wonderful and the food delicious.  Click here for more photos!
